The hotel that my family and I stayed in was Equatorial Hotel. We requested the new renovated Premium Room which surprisingly comes with a day bed in it. I believe we all know that day bed is me and my sister's weakness.

The day bed could actually fit both of us, thus, no fighting for who gets the day bed first. The window blinds can be rolled up and there we'll get the view of wonderful streets of Malacca. The best time for us to catch the scenery is at night, where all the lights are up! I remembered when we were clueless on where to go, we went to the window and see which road is the most crowded one. From there, we make our decisions. :) It's really better than GPS!, and I am really for real :)
Rating for the hotel: ★★★✰✰
Talking about GPS, the GPS installed in my sister's phone should be leading us to Malacca. Infact, we ended up somewhere close to Morip, few kilometers before Port Dickson, in between many palm oil plantations and also, a few local cemeteries. Did I mentioned that the roads are one lane and only ONE WAY all the way? It was a scary adventure and it took us more than two hours to realise that we were actually heading to the wrong direction.

The moment we crossed over the Malacca Gateway, we quickly went for food hunting. Our first stop was Jonker 88 - no pictures was taken. we were busy eating then. Then, after checking in, we drove around and found this beach look-a-like thing. There's a name for it but I couldn't recall. It was windy. I like it and I wish I could stay longer.
Dinner time. Of course, who wouldn't want to taste the Famosa Chicken Rice Ball? Its shop located at Jonker Street, just right across Jonker 88.So far, the balls are good. However, it did not amazed me as I still prefer KL's chicken rice.
Malacca Chicken Ball Rice is sooooo overrated. Rating: ★✰✰✰✰
The highlight of this trip would be meeting a group of teens that found my sister's phone and took the trouble to return it back to us. Thank you guys so much!❤So far, along with my mother and sister, this trip has brought me lots of smiles and laughters that stunningly, washed away miserable moments that I had plaster on me for the past months. I can't wait for the next getaway!
Cheers.
